2021 Plein Air in Sudbury at Sudbury Valley Trustees
Sudbury Valley Trustees once again hosted artist Cecilia Sharma’s Watercolor workshop. This included painting demonstration to learn painting outdoors in natural light and taking quick decisions about elements such as composition and color.

The Online Water Color classes will begin in August. Sessions will be allocated by every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Tuesday sessions: August 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th (4 sessions)
Wednesday sessions: August 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th (4 sessions)
Friday sessions: August 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th (4 sessions)

The Colors used are as follows: Sky and mountains: Ultramarine Blue, Sky blue, Burnt sienna and alizarin crimson Mountains: Ultramarine blue, Lemon yellow and Alizarin crimson/ Violet Trees: Lemon Yellow, Prussian/ Indigo blue and Cadmium yellow mix. Rocks: Burnt Sienna, Raw Sienna and Burnt Umber. Water: Sky blue/ Prussian blue tint. Reflections: lemon yellow and Prussian blue. Grass Green mix: Cadmium yellow Prussia blue and for the dark, Burnt Umber and Raw Sienna.
Virtual Water Color Workshops 2020
With social distancing and lockdowns keeping everyone confined, art has been a wonderful way to destress and reconnect with ourselves. Throughout this period, I’ve hosted Live art workshops, interacting with existing and new students across experience levels.
